However, not many people can really achieve this goal. For those who believe in the phrase “don’t dream of heights, you’ll get sick” there can often be a sense of insecurity, so many limit themselves to exploring.
Contrary to Achmad Ichsan (22), he has been determined to be good at technology since he was a teenager. Specifically, after college, Ichsan unanimously set the goal of becoming a professional software engineer. Thanks to his unwavering determination from a young age, it is now proving that this dream is not just wishful thinking. Even before graduation, at the end of term 8, Ichsan was working as a software engineer at DANA, a well-known fintech company.
In his third year on campus, Ichsan was introduced by his lecturer to receive a programming scholarship from Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Dicoding, namely IDCamp (Indosat Ooredoo Dicoding.

Previously considered stuttering tech, then dreamed of being good at tech
One of the most difficult subjects for him was the use of technology. Generation Z has developed an attachment to the digital age, especially Conduit Cn Mobile Number List when it comes to teaching, but Ichsan at the time didn’t seem accustomed to using technology. Until then, the technical examination began. Unlike his peers with above-average grades, Il-san only scored 25 out of 100. Because of this, his teachers called him a “technologically illiterate” kid.
This incident seems to have left a deep impression on Ik-san. Instead of sinking, he is driven and determined to prove that, in fact, he is capable. This fiery passion continued through high school. While attending school in Bekasi, Ichsan found time outside of school hours for IT extracurricular activities. Gradually, mastering technology became his passion. The more he studied various technological materials, the more he couldn’t put it down. From designing websites, using Arduino and more.
Unfortunately, that moment didn’t last long.
Ichsan has transferred to a school in another city and no longer concentrates on studying IT as before. That didn’t necessarily dampen his enthusiasm, though, as Ichsan was still determined to get back into tech after high school. In 2017, he chose a FIND List Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from Srivijaya University Palembang. It’s not easy for him because Il-san has to participate in the independent selection process. But he did it!

Going to university and strengthening your skills in the IT sector is certainly not as clear cut as a freshman might think. Reflecting on those seniors and friends who didn’t know what major to choose after graduating from college, Yishan realized that he should not have experienced the same thing. Since then, Ichsan, who is still in his first year of study (2018), has listed his goals for studying IT. Gradually, he began to explore the world of coding.
The following year (2019), Ichsan ventured to hone his programming skills with the national software development competition “FIND IT!”, a national software development competition. Participate in “UGM 2019” with colleagues. They were also selected as one of the champions.
